ILLUMINATING A PATH TO INNER STILLNESS

Valo Refuge is a mindfulness retreat center along the meandering waters of Beaver Creek.

Here, nature and stillness converge in meditation, traditional yoga, breathwork, sauna, and silence.

Immerse yourself overnight in our custom crafted panoramic mirrored-glass homes—each themed to a sacred element, dissolving the boundary between us and the wild.

We envisioned a Sanctuary for Renewal, Reflection, &  Reconnection.  A place to unplug from our digital world.

We are an Adult Only & Alcohol Free Facility

To us, VALO, Finnish for LIGHT, symbolizes illumination, clarity, and awakening.

Nestled in Utah’s mountains along a meandering creek, our mirrored cabins reflect not only the beauty of the landscape, but our inner light that emerges when we choose to slow down, breathe, and return to nature.

FALL INTO A NATURAL
FLOW

Inspired by the four sacred elements:

—Air, Earth, Fire, & Water—

VALO will allow you to FLOW  seamlessly into the natural landscape.

Each cabin offers a tranquil escape, thoughtfully designed to embody and reflect the four elements.

reset

Immerse yourself with sauna and cold plunge in the cold waters of Beaver Creek.  Hike, kayak or paddle-board on nearby Causey Reservoir, only six minutes away.  In winter, the nearby slopes of Powder Mountain and Snowbasin offer world class ski destinations.

But most of all, Valo is a place to be still.  To find solace in doing very little at all.  Because the crisp, quiet, starry nights by the warm embrace of a private crackling fire may just be the only antidote to reset that you need.

stay

Each mirrored cabin at VALO blends minimalist design with eco-luxury. Inside, you’ll find a plush king-sized bed with silky bamboo sheets, a kitchenette, heated floors, AC, and a bathroom with a rain shower and heated Japanese smart toilet. Solid tongue and groove cedar lines both the walls and ceiling.  A remote-controlled moon roof lets in starlight and the sounds of Beaver Creek, while a private outdoor fire pit invites cozy evenings beneath the stars.  Each cast iron Blackstone grill outside is available for meal preparation.  Water is drawn from our private artesian well.

Wellness retreats are ongoing; call or email for details.  And ask about booking our entire refuge for your retreat.
